Is there a program to convert wav or mp3 back to midi?
(I need it for my cellular)

Give me a program that can to a song off the radio and split up the notes,
chords, intruments, effects, drums , etc...............
If the end results need more effort to "fix" than to sequence from scratch
then why bother!!!!.......

reediting.......

Just for fun, look at some of those sample converted MID files
using the score view and event view of your MIDI editor. Some
folks have mentioned the amount of editing you have to do to make
the converted results usable, but few mention that many of them
are essentially uneditable. And I think it's more than fair to
call a few dozen notes plus a few thousand pitch wheel events
uneditable. In fact I think it's charitable.
Lots of WAV-to-MID software sites listed in the FAQ at the URL in
my sig. Some are worse than others, and none are good.

I havent got the time to test them atm.. I'm busy building homepages, so i
dont know yet...
