In comparing the Gibson LP Studio and the Epiphone LP Standard, is the Gibson
studio really worth the extra $600? Just looking for help in selecting an LP.

Some will say yea, some nea. I suggest you go to a store that has
both and play them side by side.

Yes, the Gibson is better. Better pickups, better workmanship, better
hardware. And not NEARLY as many sharp edges as on the Epi. Try to find
one of the older LP Studios that had the full-size body and inlays and ebony
board.
