Heavily multitracked (up to 32 tracks for the 15 performers) jazz recording
in single pass with minor overdubs.
Mastered by Bob Katz
The plethora of channels did not disturb the live energy of this recording.
The sound stage doesn't sound quite live from a sheer pragmatic standpoint:
You couldn't have that many trumpets lined up in that narrow a column.
Aside from that, it's fine, a very listenable recording.
