View Full Version : OT: Why Powell wants help in Iraq

Colin Powell is talking to the UN about securing additional "help"
in Iraq. But Gen John Abizaid, head of U.S. Central Command, says
"Boots per square inch is not the issue". Hmmm... logically there
are only two reasons we'd ask for help:

1. We really want and need the French and Soviet troops in there
"helping" us.
Or;
2. We need someone (the UN) to share the blame with as things
continue to go horribly wrong.

(ding, ding, ding, we have a winner).

Don't forget to bring a TOWEL!

Naw; as things deteriorate, the GOP will do
what they always do: Blame Clinton. After all,
*he* let gays in the military, and let women be
assigned to combat duty! An all-hetero force
without women would already be home,
smokin' that victory cigar (with or w/o the
human humidor treatment), y'know. :-P
