Just watched and listened to the clip on http://www.fulltone.com of the TubeTape Echo.

Who was the guitarist on that?

What did you folks think of the clip and the sound of the echo ?

I think it's Mike (doing Clapton).

The clip sounds bad due to the lo-res quality but I thought it sounded like
an Echo-Plex (which is good IMO). I've played thru a couple of real
Echo-Plex and always liked them a lot.

I think a bunch of us commented on it. It's Mike Fuller and the clip was
wonderful. Playing, tone, etc. It's kind of a wierd "first" clip of a tape
echo unit in a way though. I'd like to hear some vintage Hendrix or
Rockabilly stuff too but I'm sure the thing's killer. It definitely had a
fatness to it that you can't get with digital effects. Nothing against
digital to those who keep lumping me in with cats trying to sound like the
'60s...I use digital effects myself but a tape echo is to digital echo like
transistors are to tubes.

Huh?!? Are our ears that different? Playing and tone were immaculate. Like I
said, it certainly wasn't the prototypical echoplex sample. I'd want to hear
something like Jimi's Voodoo Chile slight Return followed by some
Gatton-type rockabilly and maybe the more chorusy stuff like this clip as a
3rd clip but how can you say it sounded like ****? What's your criteria. ?

Polfus has a bug up his ass about Mike Fuller over something. I'm sure
someone here remembers the details. Is there ever any other criteria, when
Polfus is involved?

Mike always did seem like a sensible feller. No sensible feller *would*
answer the question.
Whatever the question is. What *is* the question, anyway? Ooh, wait, was
that it? Oh, no, wait, I just asked another one. Maybe that was it? Ooh!
Maybe if it I didn't phrase the question in the form of a
question...er..."Maybe that was it". There. How's that? AAARGH! These
questions! They are everywhere! And they must not be answered! Right? Oooh!

I can see that you, in fact, DIDN'T answer the question, not did you ASK a
question.
Please respond to this as soon as you can, as without your response I feel
invalidated as a human, my man! Thanks, bro, you know I know what you mean!
HAHAHA!

I noticed that you haven't answered my response to you reply yet. Is
something wrong, or did I make you mad at me indeed? Please acknowledge this
post as soon as you can!

Howldog, if that is indeed your name, again I seem to be thinking that you
have apparently failed to recieve my replies in response to your failures to
answer the questions posed earlier in my responses to your repeated requests
for me to answer your reply? Is something wrong with you or your email? If
so, please email me so that I can respond with answers that may solve the
problems you are having with the questions, or anything else.

Still no reply to my repeated unanswered responses about the replies. I can
only assume that you are now my enemy. Well, howldog, if that IS your real
name, I have no choice now but to stalk you. Have a nice day!
