Hi,
I have an old Casio PSR keyboard which has MIDI in/out. I'm intending to
use it primary as a drum/bass sound module, playing MIDI loops, and record
them on my computer using n-Tracks. I presume I'll have to connect the
headphone socket (no line out) of my keyboard to my PC via a mixer to record
the MIDI-generated sound. Will there be a problem doing this please?
I gather there's an advantage in using VST or DirectX plug-ins. Can anyone
recommend a cheap, or preferably free, drum plug-in which I could use with
n-Tracks please? Can anyone explain what the advantage of using a plug-in
would be over the method I described above?
Thanks, Lee.
