I may have jsut realized the solution, but...
I just added an ADAT Bridge with a Y cable to one of my cards (TDM system)
IT works perfectly, but the I/O labels still say its an 888 and once I get
another digit cbale today, I'll all the 888 as the "B" device. I'm using
version 5.2 and when I got to the hardware menu wht has the little
pulldown menus for card 1 nd 2 and that device A or B it doesn't give me
an option to change the deivces - I'm prettys ure it did in 5.1
When I got to I?O setup I see import and export sessing, but I don't see
anyway to change the devices ProTools is expecting to see.
If I'm correct about 5.1, maybe I should lauch that adn make the change
and then launce 5.2 and hope it follows those changes.
Also when I upgraded the G3 to a G4 there was a loose cable and ProTools
didn't see the hardware. Once it did it rant me thgouha whole setup menu
where I had to choose devices. Maybe I should disconnect the cable and
recreate tha problem to get the set up menu.
Can anyone explain the right way to do this form within 5.2?
