Firewire 410 users?

Hey all:

I'm looking at various options to do simple home recording with my
iBook. I don't want/need the control surface of a Tascam 428 (or 244
or 122) but do want phantom power and the possibility of four inputs,
among other things. The M-Audio Firewire 410 looks good.

Anyone have one yet? If so, any comments on preamp sound quality or
convertors? How about functionality with a Mac?
