No question about it....Kobe is awesome...but the fact of the matter is, he put himself in the situation he's in now...so i think he deserves to be tried. Truth shall prevail...but i hope he's innocent too. The Lakers and the NBA wont be the same without him...

every day athletes get into trouble like kobe, but i`ve never seen such a focus on one athlete! jayson williams` (former new jersey net) employee got shot in his house during a party and it was in the news for a week!
i don`t even now if he got convicted or not!

at the end of the day if Kobe is guilty he deserves to be tried for it coz its jus wrong what he's been accused of, but if he's innocent (which i hope very much he is) then im sure the'll be able to prove that.

However i wouldnt be surprised if he manages to buy out of it eh hem R. Kelly.

Kobe is just stupid, hes on top of the world and he decides to go ahead and cheat on his wife, and possibly even rape a woman. Why would you ever make such a stupid choice. Also I have read a few different articles that say Kobe is actually a real jerk behind the scenes...

This is so true. Hopefully this is some sort of dream and we'll all wake up and it will be the 4th quarter of the NBA finals and the lakers will have a 4-pete.

I hope Kobe is innocent as well, but not because of his basketball skills. I am hoping he is innocent because he was considered a great role model, and it would be a shame for him to be perceived as hypocritical. If he actually committed the crime, then obviously I am hopeful that he is found guilty.

I hear ya man. To me, it seems like Kobe doesnt stand much of a chance getting a fair trial.

I wish him the best. I personally dont believe he did it, but its really up to the jusy.

its sad that its gonna cost him so much money too.

I don't think this should be public business...it's tarnished his rep forever, even if he didn't do it.
