I'm just starting to learn to compose midi - I'm using Anvil Studio at the
moment.

I have composed a short jingle but the final chord is truncated on replay. I
have tried adding a rest at the end and I've tried addind an extra track
with rests that go beyond the end of the chord but no luck.

If I can sort this out I need to turn it into a wav but looks like I've
fallen at the first hurdle!

I've not studied anvil that much, even though I downloaded it last week....
but can you not stretch the last chord (as you'd be able to in quartz audio
freeware and most other sequencing progs)?
