Anybody on here us the Yamaha MD-8 for recording? Any thoughts, I was thinking about buying one.

handy digital 8 track format...but why when HDD recorders are getting cheaper and cheaper look@ the roland VS8240 etc etc etc etc..
I would only use MD for multi track as a last resort.
