yeah, it's all very well having talented individuals but can they gel as a team? Time will tell...

Deportivo are one of the top Spanish teams so you could probably forgive them that one. Real are always last on to the pitch 'cos it takes them so long to put on their blusher and eyeliner !

I think teamwork means a lot more in "football" than in most other sports. The way that the players need to link together to score goals.. Just because you have the best players doesnt necessarily mean you win. Also, team style matters a lot too. It needs to fit your personnel.

& how can you forget Raul? The captain of the star-studded team? I agree that Beckham is over-rated. But we're not talking about him, we're talking about the entire team! Yes, shaky defense but fantastic attack. Esp. Raul. Wow...Casillas is a great goalkeeper.
They won 3-0 on Sat night and Beckham had a great game. And Casillas was outstanding too...made a couple of astonishing reflex saves

They didn't with the Champions league last season now did they? Neitehr did Manchester (I'm sort of adding the beckham wildcard)..I think AC will take it again. Very classy in Midfield
