Yea, they're normally illegal unless you do a lot of shiz to it (meaning taking out stuff, etc)

Its been banned becoz of its beastly power!Its basic original is about 240bhp ALREADY!Plus...is there is medium mods....i can easily goes up to 500plus bhp.If some freak fully modified this sexy car.....its full potential is more than 1000bhp.Woooohooo.....I'm aiming for the Skyline GTR R35....my brother have the R33.And i can say all Skylines are SUPERB!

Yeh Skylines are pretty cool. In Australia there are plenty of them around. I didn't know they were illegal or that rare in the U.S.

motorex will sell you one for bout $80K. my dad got his R33 for $3.5K . . how you like that?

R35's aren't even out yet, they're still in production. and even if they came out in a couple of months, they won't hit our part of the world till many more months later, even after the mods to make it street-legal . . .

Nissan is really going crazy with the R35 situation... it seems like there will really be two versions. The Skyline R35 and then the GTR.. just GTR and will be completely different. Motorex specializes in importing Skylines, and they are illegal for safety reasons. IE: The windshield is not made to the standard U.S applies, and exhaust reasons and other stuff like that.

Its not 2 versions its new series which is R35.The main reason of the car being ban is because of its emission test....failed.
