Delay Pedals

I was just wondering which delay pedal you all think is the best. I was thinking of going for a Boss DD5. Comments/Suggestions?

i used to have a brilliant delay.... it was a dod/digitech, blue color, 2 footswitches, one to turn the effect on/off and one to repeat a sound loop! can't remember the model number, though, and it was probably around 10 years ago, so i could be telling ya for no reason!!

but the boss pedals always seem very good! personally i now use a boss gt-6 multi-effects.... which rocks!!! :)

Yeah, the Boss DD5 has a loop phrase function so you can create a backing riff and then solo over the top when you set it repeating. Sounds like fun!

BTW, I know that the boss gt-6 has MIDI capabilities. Do you use this? If so what sort of cool stuff can you do with it?
