What program is the best for re-mixing music?

I have used sonic foundry acid pro to make some techno songs. It is a looping program and it is very good. you could also use the roland 2480 recording studio to make songs and take them to discos and stuff.

i'm a dj and i normally use my 2 pioneer cdj500 dcplayers to mix songs. But how can i make a megamix on my computer? those sonic acid programs can't do pitch and stuff

You don't need pitch control as you can time stretch it instead, so you can make a megamix without it sounding chipmunked/out of tune.

I prefer using mixmeister 4 pro, it's easy to use.

I'm happy with PCDJ (http://www.pcdj.com/), but I'd suggest you try a few different demo programs and see which you personally like the best. :)

I've used both Acid and Cool Edit Pro, and CEP is way better. It's easier to do a lot of stuff with it, especially for remixes.
