timing is off..midi

Little help guys ? Have triton..working with midi files..attached drum machine in thru port...when midi file is playing,,drum machine beat is off ? Any ideas .....

that's a strange one. Check any sync settings and make sure the latency is correct.

What program are you using? Sometimes cubase gives me trouble, :(

check your PPQ resolution and make sure it is set to within the specs of your drum machine.
is it consistantly out or only once and a while?
could pe a polyphony issue....
