Im thinking of buying a DVDRW drive for my pc seen as recently they have droped in price considerably (into my budget). I want a 4X drive that either supports multi format media or just the + sort.
Ive seen a few that look very good and both £85, one manufactured by liteon and the other by NEC.

Can anyone recomend a good drive to me because to be honest, i dont really have a clue what is good. I dont wanna spend more than much more than £85 but any features that are good please tell me.

Thanks.

I 've got the Teac 50D, it is 4x, it supports both + and - and I am very pleased with it.

I believe there is a Plextor 8x (I know your looking for a 4x, but 8x will last you longer) thats around for a fairly cheap price.

Not sure one the price though....or what it burns....

Hmm....not much help am I :)

Oh, BTW. I use a TDK DVD+RW 4x that works pretty good but I bought it a few months ago when it was more expensive. Under $300 I believe.
