I have got mp3 dancehall tune that I would love to convert in a midi file. Tanto Metro Devonte "Everybody falls in love" how do go about converting:)

lol, you can't exactly convert a sound file to midi format, it would be virtually impossible for a piece of software to automatically seperate instruments, in order to detect their pitches and convert to midi, when all the instruments and vocals are mixed they're frequency ranges overlap making the superposed signals pretty much unseperable

there will probably never be any software that will just take any sound file and generate a midi from it

ok cool, that's my fifth post, now i should be able to dl the cky song :)

i have heard of a program that converts WAV to MIDI
its pretty easy to convert MP3 to WAV
although the free version can only convert a 30 sec song...

Yes....you can convert wav to midi, but only VERY simple wavs (such as Van Halen's "Eruption" which is just guitar). If the wave has more than one instruments, the conversion program gets confused.

its not possible to convert mp3 to midi.

*bout u can convert mp3 to wav to midi, with software such as psm player

You have not really looked, have you? Search with the keywords "WAV to MIDI" at www.google.com. Type the keywords exactly as shown, with the quotation marks around them.

i couldent find nothing streambox ripper does everything but change it to midi
