The 5 post rule has been eliminated! In it's place is a very nice system that deducts from your MB Cash. Each file is $25 MB or you can buy 'attachment credit' - 10 for $200 MB. Check out the new features for sale in the Feature Store!
Remember: For each new thread you post you get $10 MB. For each new Reply you get $5 MB. The Request Forum and Getting Started/New Member Help forums do not apply to this. Also keep a lookout for contests and other special links you can click on to earn MB $!

if you download a kar or midi file and then find out it is only a demo can you ask for a refund? i don't want to waste my cash on demos but there is no way of telling until it is downloaded. this question also applies to those midi files that only contain piano tracks, i don't want these either.

Can someone answer this question I also want to know this.
Is it possible to listen to a small piece of the track so you can see if you want to download and pay for the whole song?

An alternative:
What about a type of jugement method? Sr.Members could juge newbies by the content of their postings let's say by a skala from 1 (perfect) to 6 (banned) and if the rating is 1-3 they can dl files....

Personally I think I prefer the other system. I think people will come on the site, participate then decide it's too hard to get one midi file and leave and result in not many users actually participating :(

I have been using midibuddy for quite some time now and have posted heaps of subjects and replies. Has all my credit gone out the window. I tried downloading but got the nasty message : (

If you don't like this rule, go to
http://board.midibuddy.net/t81685.html
and you can more than enough mulah to dl about 12 files... so that isn't the problem...
But thats not the reason I don't like this rule; the reason I don't like it is because at first, people would only spam 5 messages... so they could dl music, now people spam 5 messages for each song that they want to dl... thats just more useless messages im reading...

I was a lil thrown by the system when it first changed so I avoided it but I really like the midibuddy system because it has trax many other sites just don't have so I'm back giving it a go
