Hi guys.. this question has been bothering me and my friends for a long time now.. has there really been a landing on the moon?

Do you believe in the 1st landing in the moon? I just want to know this coz there are so many contradictory statements about this.
What do you say about this? Is it true or not?

I'm doing some research on this now for a class. Check this out: http://pirlwww.lpl.arizona.edu/~jscotti/NOT_faked/

Hate to even grace this question with a moment's thought, but...
of course it was real. Why the hell would you bother to fake it when you've got the technology to accomplish the task?

I've never understood where the backward folk got the idea that there was any question of its authenticity in the first place...

More time already than I shoulda wasted on this :).

Incidentally, I've worked on the space program and have some idea about what's involved. It is a difficult and dangerous proposition, but believe me - the engineers and scientists involved have done their homework. The hardware and software involved evolved over decades...

Hrm, well I guess it's clear what my position is :).
