Is it possible to create own midi without using a keyboard/piano?

There is, but I have no discovered an easy way in doing so. Unless there is something that I am not aware of. Sorry, I know this probably is not helpful to you.

Well, I certainly don't know about that. I did the opposite way the last time. From mmf to midi.

Just use yahoo to search for such converter.

To make your own midis, you have to use some multitrack sequencing software like Cakewalk Sonar or Cubase. There are also some free awailable (anwilstudio, jazz, rosegarden, muse).

You can enter parts via score notation or via piano roll.

Tosome degree, you can "convert" mp3 to midi with melody recognition software like Intelliscore.
