Very disappoiting when it comes to upgrading your ride ...

YOu win trounaments and you unlock stickers and vinyl ... Like i have anything better to do then to waist tournaments on stickers and vinyls...

Races and sound effects are 8/10 ...

I hope FnF will platinum the racing industry ...

Underground is the best - it has 4 different racing modes, plus the online - I just dont get why the X box version isnt online. And where is the EVO???

Theres an even better game out for ps2, it's called Tokyo Extreme Racer 3, which is the sequel to Tokyo Extreme Racer 0. It's only like 20 bucks but they replaced all the car names with licensed cars and modding your car is much more in depth than NFSU, also you drive around japan motorways looking for car's to race and there are TONS of cars to race with different mods and stuff... guys should check it out if you liked nfsu...

My Friend has NFSU and its awesome. I love upgrading the RSX, its so fun. Not to mention the tons of promo stickers they passed out in magazines are fun too.

NFSU is a great game. I'm playing the NGC version of the game. The graphics are very nice, sound is very good. The effects and music are top notch.

You start with a couple of cars, standard boring cars: Peugot 206, Honda Civic, Mazda 'Miata' MX-5, Dodge Neon. When you win some races, you will get money to change your car. You won't be able to buy all of the visual upgrades from the start, you need to unlock them first. Same goes for the performance upgrades.

NFSU is using real cars, but the tuning part is a bit simple. There are 3 levels of upgrades for each part of your car: engine, tires, nitros (yup, there're in it!) and so on.

The further you get, the more cars you can choose, like the Subaru Impreza, Mitsubishi Lancer (not the Evo... 2bad) and the Mazda RX-7.

Visual upgrades includes neon lighting, rims (20 inch baby!), front/rear bumper and so on.

Tons of mods, fast racing, very good challenge, nice graphics, very good music. In short: very good game if you like to race and to change your car into a demon of the night!
