Taking a look at your spiritual side what do people think exists or are we all just bits and bites on a midi board?

I say there is a greater force... call it God, or Allah, or Fate, or Karma.... or whatever....... Its all the same since I take comfort in believing that there is something responsible for me other than me myself ;)

We're just little inconsequential chunks of matter in a large and empty universe. Like sand through an hourglass, thus are the days of our lives. :)

I always found that quote humorous for some reason. :)

Ah but that phrase is not a literal one - it is a petty insult the type which Pol and I tend to trade. Another translation lost across the pond I fear :)

I take it there's leering going on top or no. :) Well, you can fault them for good manners, but not good taste. ;)

What do you think of the idea of the contents of one's thoughts being outwardly projected such that they form one's appearance? Do you think things would be very different?

This is what my old school teacher believes will happen when we die ...
We will be sent to a movie theatre with all the people we have ever interacted with and we will watch a movie of our lives. Little thought bubbles will show what we were thinking during different interactions with different people, with similar thought bubbles above their heads...can you imagine....all the secrets thoughts would be known...very interesting!
Now the idea of thoughts taking on apperances - I always say
'I feel like' (say a chocolate) and then I would be a walking chocolate - I think I would eat myself LOL ...

G-man
12-03-2003, 01:47 PM
...dare I say what my thoughts were regarding the "chocolate" comment ... :laugh2:

That would be very interesting seeing movies of all our lives ,but I believe that would be more like the idea of hell! :flamemad: Most of us don't lead very interesting lives... maybe if Hollywood had a hand in it it might be more interesting! I want Spielberg to direct mine! or it most likely would be more like... eh, they wouldn't play THAT kinda' movie there! :smart: .... just KIDDING!
...but I suppose you'll find out the truth soon enough in my "movie"?

I'm really kinda counting on that in the greater scheme of things.... since in my mind's-eye everyone is a bit cartoon-esque!!

Have others watch my life? Oh no..that'd be hell for me cuz no way i want people to see all the things i've done.

As a Christian, i of course believe in God and that we are responsible for our actions..they say good things are from God and bad things are from th devil but through experience i have learnt that bad accounts can be a blessing in disguise. it might hurt really bad in the beginning but as I believe God never puts us through more than we can handle.
So when we go there's Heaven and Hell and i dont have to explain cuz i'm sure everyone's familiar with both dimensions. Those who've accepted Christ and believe their sins have been forgiving go to Heaven and those who don't be thrown in2 the lake of fire..
Oooh..i sound like a Sunday School teacher
