What are your thoughts on Cakewalk Sonar?

Soanar 2 Is pretty damn good!!!

I have switched to it from Logic 5...

i wen't from pro audio 8 to sonar 1.31 then the sonar 2.
some very cool plug ins...soft synths are cool(less MIDI hardware now :) ). If you are into loop creation and real-time audio etc, it is brilliant.

Sonar and Pro by Cakewalk are (almost) all I ever need to use.

I just finished an album using sonar 2. I can clean up bad audio sound effects, descratch old records, model bad microphones to sound like good ones. I use t-racks 24 to do the final mastering. Oh and the BBE directX plugin is awesome. I can virtually take my computer and the D-A usb patch bay (M-audio) with some mikes to a clients house to record audio. As for midi I use a roland XV 3080 module that loops stright into SONAR to record what ever else I need.

Cakewalk sonar is one of the best midi squenceer around. I just made and sequence alot of songs with this program.
