I'm kinda new to live midi, but basically what I would like to do is control the playback of my midi sequences real time with a foot controller ( like my FCB 1010).
Since I won't be playing the keyboards I need to find a way to do this without the 'Shift - midi key' binding thing or figure out a way to send both note on signals with one hit of my controller.
Anyone have any ideas or experiences doing the same thing?
OR
who uses a better computer based sequencer that doesn't use 2 note on bindings...(I'd like to use Sonar however since that way I needed to I could route some .wav samples.....which may or may not be cool...:-) )
