Assigning rotary knobs from keyboard to effects in cuabse

Can anyone help?
I've been using cubase for about 18months now and have just recently got a new keyboard(Midi controller) with assignable rotary knobs on it, i want to know how to assign these knobs to certain effects(Plug-ins) so that i can use them whilst recording, for example if i want to add a filter effect to a drum loop, but want to bring it in graually using the rotary's, how do i set it all up to use?:hit:

You will have to look in the synth's manual to see what MIDI controller messages it responds to, and what effects they have. Then configure your keyboard according to the way described in the keyboard's manual, making sure to enter the controller numbers that your desired synth actually responds to.
