I'm having the same problem

When I click on the midi the first time, it opens in media player, but media player says the file is unplayable. Then when I refresh the page, and click to save the file to the computer, it saves a htmll file that says that I don't have enough MB cash instead of saving the actual midi.

Help, I've lost about $150 MB allready

It sounds like you guys aren't saving the target. You're saving the page when you right click on the file. You should select 'save target as'

You may also want to check what player you have as default when a midi file opens.

I found the problem!

You have to have enough mb cash to buy 2 ringtones.
For some reason if you only have enough to buy 1, you won't be able to buy it. I think the system checks for how much cash you have after it deducts the 25 mb from you. This is why when you refresh and save the target, you end up saving the webpage that says that you don't have enough cash to get the ringtone. Just make sure you have more than $50mb before you try to get the ringtone.

Also if you get the error, just come back when you have more than $50 mb and click on the link again, you will be able to get the ringtone and you won't get charged again.

sometimes its the filename that causes it to save wrong (ie theres an apostrophe in the filename, which causes it to save as "attachment")
have you tried changing the file extension to ".mid" when saving as

Actually no. This is why it says in the FAQ to reload the page the file is on after buying it if you want to save it. The file name does not become a link until after you reload the page. You cannot be double charged for the same file.

My Bad.. You're slightly correct. I looked into this and found that if you have $30 you won't have the same problem. An operator is wrong somewhere. I'll get this fixed soon.
