Help w/ Anvil -- Recording

I was wondering how to record just part of a of a midi and save it as a midi. for example if i only wanted the first 20 seconds of a midi saved, how would i do that? thank

Delete everything after twenty seconds.

Play the file till your 'ending' point. Stop the playback. Then choose 'File' -> 'Truncate song' -> 'Delete from current to end'
