Captain Dead Guy: Thank you Jack.
Jack: Your welcome.
Captain Dead Guy: No not you. We named the monkey Jack.
:laugh: ...well...guess you have to see it! :-) It just doesn't sound the same just by saying it...

Y'know, I can't remember most of the funniest one-liners from Pirates of the carribean, but I think the "Stop Blowing Holes In My Ship!" part was good.

Jack Sparrow: Me? I'm just honest, and a dishonest man you can
always trust to be dishonest... Honestly. It's the honest ones you
want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid.

Murtogg: This dock is off limits to civilians.

Jack : I’m terribly sorry. I didn’t know. If I see one, I shall inform you immediately

Ragetti: [spots Jack ] You.

Pintel: You’re supposed to be dead!

Jack : Am I not? [looks down at himself] Oh. [finds pistols pointed at him] Palulay…palu-li-la-la-lulu, parlili… parsnip, pasley, par - partner, partner…

Ragetti: Parley?

Jack : Parley! That’s the one. Parley! Parley!

Pintel: Parley? Down to the depths whatever man that thought up “parley!”

Jack : That would be the French.

Jack: Why is the rum gone?
Elizabeth: One: It is a despicable drink that turns even the most respectable men into complete scoundrels. And two: I've created a column of smoke that rises a thousand feet in the air. My father's ships will be combing the area. Do you think there is even a chance they won't see it?
Jack: .... but why is the rum gone?
:laugh2:

That rum line has gone around my college and back. I personally like the parley bit. That was pretty funny. Johnny Dep is awesome in that movie. He doesn't seem to open his mouth without saying something funny in that whole movie. He reminds me of Jack the Pumpkin king in how he moves, too.

JACK SPARROW: ''Shivver me Timbers???''

nah, I cant remember the quote, but the scene when Jack comes in on the mast of the sunken ship at the begining has to be the best lol....

I like that exchange when he meets the sword maker and tells him the reason he practices 3 hours a day is because he either needs a check, or because he has a chick!

Will: Jack!
Captin Barbossa: It's not possible.
Jack: Not Probable
Will: Were's Elizebith?
Jack: She's safe like I promised. She's all set to marry Norrington like she promised. And you get to die for her like you promised. So we're all men of our word really. Accept for Elizebith, who is in fact a woman.
Captin Barbossa: Shut up! Your next.

I laughed so hard when I saw this!

Love G-man's bit about honest men. The whole movie is great. Johnny Depp was perfect.

I finally had the time to watch this movie and I confess it surprise me! I absolutely loved it! So many fine lines...

Will: "You're the one they're hunting. The pirate."
Jack: "You seem somewhat familiar. Have I threatened you before?"

And I also loved this:

Jack: "I’ll tell you mate, if every town in the world were like this one, no man would ever feel unwanted."
[A hooker walks toward Jack and Will.]
Jack: "Scarlet!"
[Jack receives a slap from the woman who then walks away.]
Jack: "Not sure I deserved that."
[After Scarlet, another woman comes.]
Jack: "Giselle!"
Giselle: "Who was she?!"
Jack: "What?"
[Once again Jack is slapped.]
Jack: "I may have deserved that..."

(then, later on...)

Jack: "Anamaria."
[Jack receives a slap from Anamaria.]
Will: "I suppose you didn’t deserve that one either."
Jack: "No, that one I deserved."

i liked the part when he was talking to the two soldiers on board the ship... when he was asked about his purpose in port royal..
"I SAID NO LIES!"
"I think he was telling the truth"
.... etc. etc.
