spag -> has a lot more feeling for unnatural (for normal peepz) timings, can do sum really crazy **** (end of all things to come, everything and nothing, silenced, solve et coagula, ...). He has technique and speed. Joey is only speed, never heard any special timing in his beats.

The drummer from mudvayne would beat SlipKnots, simply for the fact that he can make more spastic parts. Both have speed but you wouldn't think of playing half the thing when mudvayne's drummer would.

Yeah i agree that spag comes out with more syncapated rythmns, but only cos it suits the style of the music, not cos he's showing off

If it was Joey in Mudvayne he would definately have the potential to play what their sound demanded cos he played jazz and was in a Big Band for ages, so he has the experience and the technique. (What im saying is he has the skills to pay the bills when he needs to.)

Both these guys are examples of living genius, how can you compare art as good as this.

Both are high skilled drummers, but both have quite different styles. Spag is more into complex time signature rhythms and Joey is more into high speed brutal Death Metal Style with lot of double bass and blast-beat drumming.
I feel more identified with Joey Jordison.
