I use them to make backing tracks for my band and others...I run them through a sequencer after a little tweaking in cubase...

I think it's funny that this is my 5th post this evening, in fact this hour, because I just registered and I need this friggin MB cash to get the MIDI file of Rage Against the Machine - Renegades of Funk posted on another thread.

I open them in Pro Tools to make remixing songs a helluva lot easier. It lays each part out for me, and then I can lay down the hotness.

You don't need no wires, nothing. Just an internet connection to your PC. All you do is upload your midi file onto a temporary wap site and download the ringtone to your phone. Simple as that.

use it for karaoke and I like to compare midi files to the real thing. spend MUCH MORE time listening to CDs though
oh also until I get a true tone phone I use it for ringtones that I can't find anywhere

So my kids at school can play along and hone in on difficult part (i.e. loop them at a slower tempo and build up)
