I just love the Batman and was delighted to hear of a new movie - if ive put this thread in the wrong place please forgive me as I am new to this stuff.
Did anyone see just how bad Batman and Robin was? I mean come on!? Any Batman movie to be made will never stand in the shadow of that film.... unless of course the same director does it (Joel Schumacher). "Hi Freeze, I'm Batman" says George Clooney as he slides down the dinosaur?!!!?!?!?! We need a dark Batman like the first 2 films what do you reckon?

Which is the best Batman movie?

Christopher Nolan (Momento, Insomnia) is at the helm this time around, you can bet it's going to be a pretty dark film.. I can't imagine Bruce Wayne becoming the Dark Knight just for the hell of it.

The next movie will be awesome. Ra's Al Ghoul is an awesome villain, as is Scarecrow.

For now I'll have to say Michael Keaton....it's a bit dumb using Christian Bale when the movie isnt out....anyway.

Val Kilmer, eh, never liked him, always seemed pretentious. George Clooney, good actor, but not his role or style.

Michael Keaton, in the first 2, it was just right: dark, gothic, filled with raw emotion. Hopefully, if American Psycho is anything to go by in terms of deliverance, Batman 5 will be a winner

I saw Batman Begins a couple of weeks ago, and I loved it! There aren't a ton of movies out there that I feel a strong need to purchase, but this is one of them. I thought it was wonderfully cast. The story held together, and the character development of Bruce Wayne was very well executed. I have to say that I'm impressed with Christian Bale as Batman. I will be anxiously awaiting the next Batman movie, and I hope that many of the same actors are included in the adventure.
Who else has seen Batman Begins? What did you think?
