Just wanted to know if anyone could give me a hand at finding out why the music no longer plays on my site.
It was working just fine the other day, and now it's not working. (as far as I know. It may be my PC)
My site is: http://www.austinsings.com/home.html
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
Ronny

What programme did you use to build your site?

Try a html validator to check your html such as www.w3c.org

the link is dead try remaming the file in the html. It could just be as simple as the additional capital letter in the file name of the midi. The page is bottom1.html
midi name is
<bgsound src="music/Crossfire.mid" loop="infinite">
so the file name could be crossfire.mid or it's not in the folder.

This is really strange.
I've played with several different combinations of ideas and still nothing. It's got to be something simple I'm over looking.
I even put in the full url path, and still nothing.
I'll keep playing with it . . .

Yes. They've been uploaded. I've been running these midi files on my site for about 6 months, and I change the song about once a week.
It's never failed before. It's in the exact same folder, and I'm doing what I've always done.
I wondering if it could have anything to do with my hosts servers. Is it possible for them to disable midi files for some reason?

run a short check list for me
check the file name is correct in the html (capitals in the wrong place is bad too)
check the folder name (again for spelling errors) (i know it worked before but it doesn't hurt to check)
if everything does look ok I'm guessing the tag is in the wrong place it should be in the body. Otherwise if that don't work then PM and we'll do some testing. BTW if you midi files are on different servers then there could be a problem keep them constantly on the same server.
