but i have this HATRED for 'N Sync..bunch of irritating kiddos!!

worst boy bands are the "not" boy bands...aka all the emocore bands...like SOTY, or GC, or any of the "unpopular is cool" bands

Hanson was pretty shocking, when the first time i saw that Umbak video clip i thought the singer was a girl seriously :smart:

My two cents would be whoever had the worst producer.

Even I give Satan's minions their due:

Like the Spice Girls, New Kids actually had some excellent pure pop songs, it's just a shame they were the artists who recorded them.

I still to this day can't tell the difference between N'Sync, 98 Degrees, and Backstreet Boys (never could), but between the three of them, I bet I could name two songs I like by 'em.

So my vote would have to go to Menudo. I believe they had one song chart in the US in the early '80s, and it was utterly annoying and instantly forgettable.

Oh, and they introduced the scourge that is Ricky Martin.

Of course, the reason I comment is that I want to throw "Kris-Kross" out there.
