Soooooo...... I'm gonna be an Aunt again.... and my Bro and sis-in-law are having naming issues.... She wants "Dante" to be the-already-existing Dominic's brother.... My bro wants "anything I can get her to agree to other than Dante"....

Anyone have good ones? The "d" link isn't imperative but might be a good selling point....

Del is slang for Derek over here
I agree with your bro though...not Dante
Damon sounds good but i suppose it would have to match the surname

Does it need to start from D?
<--Warning: My choices are always crazy -->
How about Aryan?
Damien ? :: hides into a dark corner ::

Xzero

what about, Darnell. does it specificly have to start with a "D"

jeaniesing
04-05-2004, 02:28 PM
Not specifically... but the "D" thing seems a good selling point to her.... Damien is a nice name as far as I'm concerned.... but a blue-eyed blonde child named Aryan could create some ...discomfort!......

keep trying pretty please? One of you may yet name my nephew!

I love my son's name.

K----

My wife has informed me that we would never give our son's name up on the internet. So I had to edit this post. Sorry about that.
He's a great kid, and I'd recommend the name to anyone (If I could post it). Good luck and congrats.

Hmm,... how bout Mike?

(but i think it's the short form for Micheal or something like that right?)

Daniel?
David?

I was also thinking of dominic but it seems his brother is already named dominic....

jeaniesing

Mike is his Uncle.... David and Daniel are too "common".... "Andre" was on the table for a while ;)... I don't think it survived the cut in the end. As I said, she wants Dante and he wants just about anything she'll agree to other than Dante!

Well couldn't they keep Dante, but instead of saying Dante your brother could just call him Dan for short?

'cept it would be pronounced "Don" (or Dahn) and his brother is known as Dom.... can you see the problem? Plus the fact that my bro HATES the name Dante.... he'll give in if he can;t convince her otherwise, I know he will... buuuuuuut......

and how did I miss this??

I can't believe a music site like this missed out on the obvious "D" name

Dylan

I have Hayden, Luke, Dylan, Brock and Tristan....all boys, so if I go again, I'm hoping for a girl only because I don't think I'd be able to come up with another boys name....

UPS or TNT it !!!

*lol* I wish her well and hope she has an "express delivery" herself, time for me to run it is soooo late here. I made a pigs ear of my reply to "I got busted" but I think I edited it back to sense now .. blame it on the lateness of the hour !
