We bought a JVC digital video camera GRDVL 510EA.Not happy. It cost $1800 and just after the one year warranty it freezed on us. They fixed it fornothing graciously - but 6 months later it's playing up again. Think carefully before buying A JVC camera. I cheesed off

ergh... I am in possession of 2 Sony Digivid Cameras... The first had a screen-burnout issue (which they implied a thousand times had to be because I stored it in the cold.... wasn't the case at all). They charged me nearly half he camera's value to fix it.... I think that these little guys are just early in their lifespans and have not yet been de-bugged enough to operate reliably...

My hubby always says "Don't buy the first year of a new model car..." (unless you live next door to the garage where it'll go for its recalls).
