Protools or cubase which do you prefer to use?

Well i use Cubase SX. I haven't had much experience with protools but what i can tell u is that Cubase has much more midi features. I would also say the learning curve for both is about the same. So it all comes down to personal preference. Protools however is king of audio, and is the most widely used audio program. However this is the full version protools not the LE versions.

I use Pro-tools to record real instruments and vocal, Cubase and Reason for midi.

I use Cubase VST for midi and then record via SB Audigy for live tracks.

Cubase sx because to use pro tools fully, i find i like to have the whole hardware interface which is very expensive. Cubase is just setup and go!

protools mostly, trying to get into cubase, less hardware dependent
