Does anyone know if MIDI keyboards have started to come out in USB? I did a quick check, but haven't found anything...

There are plenty of USB keyboards around - whether or not they are worth the trouble is another issue entirely.
The computer world seems to have gone USB bananas, but there's only so much data you can move around at one time. If you stuff your USB ports full of devices, expect some problems.

If you can, stick with the 15-pin gameport controller and not get a USB.
The only reason USB was made is because new computers aren't being made with the 15 pin anymore, and companies are trying to make it more compatible.
Stick with the basics, its much easier.

I read a review recently I think in Micro Computer Mart and it was a normal Qwerty computer keyboard with piano keys where the wrist rest would be. Trying to track one down as it would be a useful input device for the midi tracks!

The computer keyboard with integrated piano keyboard is the Creative Labs Prodikeys (http://www.prodikeys.com/). You can get them on-line for $40 to $50. Look cool but haven't tried one yet.
