Ah, well we'll surely beat them (are they any good?) LOL, sorry not a very good fan knowing nothing about the teams :).

I know Houston had the Hurricanes, but I'm not sure they exist any more... Unfortunately, soccer is not followed extensively as a sport, at least American soccer isn't. It's a very popular participatory sport for kids, I think, and there are many amateur leagues, but I'm not sure much attention gets paid to the professional teams. But what do I know? :)

I'm a Valencia fan but when I'm watching English football I go for Arsenal, I'd say Leeds but I don't see them in the premiere league in 2 years time.

lol - yes Liverpool haven't started too brightly. Villa better be careful though as they could end up playing fellow Claret & Blue's next season in Burnley ;)
