For those of you who just graduated what college/university are you going to? Or if you are in college, where do you go? I am going to Vanderbilt this year, its gonna be awesome, I go on the 17th and I'm pretty excited, just wondering who else is attending what universities?

Well it all depends on many factors... but for me Yale was one of the best universities I obtained a degree from... Vanderbilt is a good school though and it's all about you regarding success in life. In your words, it's gonna' be awesome indeed! I wish you the best Vicarbo.

"Older people"!?!
Who are you callin' old?

..there are plenty of young people on here 16 or so and younger still... and for the record, I was working on my Masters at your age and not to mention that because of the "older" comment or anything... and Jeanie if you are reading this ...stop laughing already! :laugh2:

I'm going to study medicine at the university of Groningen (in the north of the Netherlands)... I don't think you've ever heard of that university ;)

I was originally going to go to the University of Hawaii at Manoa to study meteorology...until I found out 3 weeks before school starts that they overbooked the school by 1400 dorms!! Kinda hard to commute between Indiana and Hawaii!

That far outa' state eh? What about IU, Purdue, Ball State...?
Nothing wrong with a lil' frugality and it's cheaper to attend in-state rather out of state universities. Unless, of course Hawaii has a far superior meteorology program?

Me too.
Yup. Thank you guys... I'm truly thankful I could take off for 6 months and spend quality time these last few moments with him and the rest of my family. He truly led a full life.

I'm wondering if Vicarbo and Boi are gonna come back for advice good or bad!
I know some view it as odd - I think that a death is a wonderful thing after a full life. But every time I attend a funeral I am moved to tears by the loss of those who are left behind.... If there is any part of my heart that I can offer to make that loss a little less it is yours my dear....

well i kinda have a feeling about the school..harvard and oxford are also great, even yale but i feel their a bit out of my league....(in more ways than one)....i feel i'll be more at home in ucla...though i know there might be other schools i could choose from...m thinking of getting a masters in technology management or something close to it..

 my prayers are with you...sorry if it's a bit late.....but knowing he lived a full life and that you have been a part of and shared in that life is reward enough...for you have a store of memories about him... and through these memories he will continue to live on
