What is the best program to use to create a midi file? I have downloaded a couple but they aren't so great, ie they will only create a basic midi file (without drums or anything).

If you have the cash, go for Cubase SX, you won't regret it. It's an amazing piece of software

Interesting name you've got there, M.B.

Anvil Studio (http://www.anvilstudio.com/) is a very popular shareware title that had me jumping for joy when I found it. For anyone yearning for a good software but is short on money, Anvil Studio is my top recommendation.

Anvil Studio is a MIDI sequencer. Read http://www.borg.com/~jglatt/tutr/whatsseq.htm for more information.
