Having recently heard an appalling dance cover (as many dance covers are) of Genesis' "World we live in" by persons unknown (and let's face it - it wasn't a great song to begin with) I thought I'd which is the worst you've heard.

I think one of the worst cover songs ever was Kid Rock's version of "Feel Like Makin Love". It started off OK. But then when he starting screaming like a freakin' dumb ass, it got sour. First off, Kid rock cannot sing, so that kind of decreased points from the song already. But screaming. No, just horrible.

Spanish radio must have the monopoly on crap covers & "re-mixes". Just heard Collins/Bailey`s "Easy Lover" done by some inept Spaniard with the chorus in English. If that wasn`bad enough it had a techno feel to the whole thing.
Gotta agree about Metallica & "Whiskey In The Jar" ....appalling. Having said that.......Check out a version of the same song by "More Power To Your Elbow"

I hope Jim Morrison isn't listening this horrible sweet-pop remake, or he'll launch a curse on this poor singer ;)
