Strange midi problem

OK, I really hope somebody can help cos I've got this midi file, i can listen to it in windows media player, but I can't open it in Anvil Studio to edit it. I noticed that the midi was over 350k in size (hense no attachement, but I've put the url below), but it's less than 30 seconds long, which is strange.

What is wrong with this midi? And if you do manage to fix it then how?

The file size is the big give-away here - there's no way it can be a 30 sec midi file if it's that big!

I checked this out, it's an MPEG Layer 3 (MP3 to you) - 128Kbps MS J-Stereo file.

I suggest you rename it by adding an MP3 extension.

So it's masically an mp3 that's been renamed as a mid? Oh well.

Actually, the file I downloaded had no extension at all :confused2
