Right on. As I have briefly visited other boards like Tech-Boards (100% insubordinates, including the staff) and Oddity (arrogants who bash for a living) when reporting scam sites, I feel that MIDIBuddy is the most pleasant place on Earth.

have to agree with zandro on that :) the people in mb make the experience worth while

I don't know what I should think about this community.

Actually I think, it is a good thing to have a portal where people can talk about music and stuff, but the way I was introduced in here was not that nice.. I only want to get a midi file (attachment) and registered, but this request was refused, because my money was to few; so I thought I have to pay here real money...kind of wierd, it's just because I never saw that before.

Let's see how it will develop...

you don't have to pay "real" money for any song on the board... what you have to do is what you already find yourself doing... particpate a little for each download... take note of Kim_eh's advice and note the thread at the top of chitchat that will allow you to click sponsor links for more MB$

The system was designed to enourage the "community" aspect rather than have a few diehard sequencers and searchers servicing a bunch of freeloaders who just want to get their file and leave.

MB is well worth a visit as I found it looking for a particular midi. Joined the community and still pop in when I can. I don't tend to go to any boards except this one as it is interesting and is related to what I trained to do which is music!
Keep up the good work, the characters are also amusing!
