Hi. Ive been playing for about 2 years, I have a Tama Starclassic with 5 tombs and 2 bases. i have 2 snairs too.
I cannot get good sounds out of my drums. they sound bad. I cut a hole in my base drums to see if that would help. but it did not help very much and now the pedle doesnt bounce back very much because there is a hole right next to where i hit it/ Why do people do this?
Then i cut holes in the low heads on the tombs. I put pillows in some of them too. it is a little better.
The biggest problem is with my snairs. how do people play thme so fast? my problem is that i keep hitting those wire things that go across the skin, some are broken now. How can i stop hitting them?
im angry. i bought these drums because i thought that they were supposed to sound great. why dont they?
