My Black Beauty

Hey all, 'm new here! I've had my guitar for a few years now, though I haven't touched it much. It's an electric/accoustic Takamine. It's a black beauty. I'm thinking of taking some lessons on it sometime later, or in the spring. So, what got all of you interested in the guitar, and do you compose your own music yourself? ^.^ I also have 8 years of experience with the violin, but not to throw this off topic! Hehe. I always wanted to sing while strumming the guitar. Well, peace! Leave me some.

... My Black Beauty is a Gibson Electric! I too played violin... I believe most string players like to try their hand at a number of stringed instruments... I first started out bangin' on the keys, myself.

I have a 6-string Fernandez Bass guitar(among others) I started playing when I was 13, with visions of stardom in my eyes...Then after many years on the road I am now content to record my own stuff and play whenever I can......I've never played the violin, but have tried a few other stringed instruments...
