Is the story in the campaign mode for halo 2 better than halo 1?

Halo's story is so much better than the story of Halo 2. Halo 2 looks better, but its story is crap.

I'd say the first Halo had the better storyline. Gotta love Halo 2 for the online play.

halo 1 deffinately better. Better story line and not as easy to beat.

The story in both are great. although I don't like how the second one ends. That just made me mad. but the multiplayer I think was equally great. I've only played halo 2 for a while but it's pretty good

both are great....but halo 2 has the beautiful bonus of X-box live...

Yes, 1 & 2 are great. I get pwned equally in both, but dual wielding is really nice. Plus I like the way the sword sounds when it rips through flesh. :D

Halo 2 is better but Halo had a greater impact on the gaming world. After 3 plus years it was still the most popular game out there.

Yea, i certainly like them both. Halo 2 is technically superior in terms of graphics and complexity, but Halo(1) had the shock factor of being a first gen xbox game.
