Hey all,
I have an electric piano, which has a midi in/out. I want to hook it up to my PC to use with Reason. Do I hook it up to a USB port?
Whatever I have to do, I need the right cable to do so. Which do I need?
Any help appreciated.

Or, if you're interested in using a proprietary connection of the interface, how 'bout this? http://www.rm.com/FE/Products/Product.asp?cref=PD344979

Thanks for the reply.
http://www.rm.com/FE/Products/Product.asp?cref=PD344979 looks good, however I would still need some cable to hook it then to my electic piano?
I saw this:

This seems an all in one straight from PC to piano. I assume this would do the trick?
Thanks for your help.

Usual cheapest way is a midi cable to Gameport (joystick) connector which is midi in/out on one end and other plugs into game port on sound card which still allows you to plug in joystick. Yamaha now do a usb to midi box of tricks with installation cd which uses usb port and has midi in/out cables on the box, cost is more expensive at around £46 whereas a midi cable is around £16.
Hope that helps.
