How much, would you say is a decent amount to pay a sequencer to sequence a song for you? :confused2

It really depends on the skill of the sequencer and what song you want.... I recently spent hours just fussing with the techno-effects on a song that someone else had done the laying-down-of-notes basics for.... I find repetitive pop/country ballads don;t take me long... but others can take forever...

You'd be better served to link the mp3 in a post and see if anyone is interested!

$30 an hour I reckon.

Zowie! I wouldn't mind that rate at all... :)

I'd sequence the theme from Barney or a flushing commode for $30/hr. ;)

We are talking about MB cash here...:p

How many hours would it take to sequence a standard country or pop song?

An easy one, maybe 5-6 hours.
A more complicated one double that.
Some songs take much longer.
My take on Rock Lobster is into the dozens of hours, but I can be a perfectionist. :)

You're still working on Rock Lobster? I remember seeing it in there several weeks ago. ;)

Yeah, I started in, what, 2003? :) It obviously wasn't a high priority to finish. ;)
