I am pretty new at midi editing...been searching forums for tips.

I have been using a Yama S90 for voices, and like playing midi backing tracks through it. Many of the midi files have program and voice changes embedded, and I haven't quite figured out how to "un-do" that in teh

he midi file itself. Instead, I can set up a MIX template on teh S90 and deactivate all file-induced program changes.

Here's the question...am I better off finading a way to actually edit the files, or spending the time to create a MIX template for EACH SONG....it is a little cumbersome.

Help...time is precious....

Editing the files is not usually too hard. You just need to get a decent sequencing program, like Anvil Studio, and you should be able to doctor the files without much trouble. :)
